Tradepage was established in 1995 with the objective of providing a comprehensive range of services that would enable businesses to benefit from the Internet. Working with over three thousand businesses has enabled us to build up a large body of knowledge and experience in the use of Internet Technology for business related purposes.

Tradepage is owned by five people who actively contribute to make Tradepage a successful business.

Thami Mtshali ( Chairman )
B.Sc M Sc Chem Eng

Thami initial experience was in the Petro Chemical Industry before becoming actively involved in the telecommunications industry that included being secretary general of the African telecommunications forum. He is cofounder of WBS that provides the wireless data network to the SA national lottery. Other business ventures include prepaid voucher systems in Uganda and other African countries. Thami overseas Tradepage’s involvement in the telecommunications industry in Africa.

Léon de Fleuriot de la Coliniere
B.Comm (Com Sci)

Leon has experience in the running of IT departments in a manufacturing environment. He oversees the technical side of Tradepage as well as being involved in the ongoing evaluation of new products and services.

Kevin Halliday
B Econ, ACMA

Kevin has a background in the managing of investments in small to medium size businesses. He is in charge of finance and the administration of Tradepage.

Tshepo Makhudu
B.Comm, MSc

Tshepo has extensive experience in the development of the tourism and hotel industry as well as property financing. He attends to the development of new markets for Tradepage, particularly in the public and BEE sectors.

Ian Halliday
B.Comm CPA(SA)

Ian’s experience includes running his own contracting business electrifying clinics in KZN under the RDP. He oversees sales and marketing at Tradepage.

Tradepage’s head office is located in Pinetown, KZN with its main branch in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The staff of forty-eight includes programmers, technicians, sales and administrative staff members all with extensive experience in the Internet Service Provider Industry.

The effect of this structure is that Tradepage is big enough to provide clients with applications based on an adequate breadth of knowledge and experience, and small enough for service and support to be personal.
